This chimney is on a 40' commercial building and at one time vented a coal boiler. The flue was found in poor condition and looked like it had been that way for years, probably as a result of a lighting strike. First, the top was repaired and the entire stack was pointed above the roofline. A new flue liner was installed and sized to exhaust the current gas burning appliances. Lastly it was capped with a heavy gauge, stainless cap made to fit the flue and accommodate the liner.
