These decorative chimneys were built off-site then craned into place on-site. This saved the owner the added labor cost of hauling all of the materials across the roof to the build site, and the wear and tear on shingles. Custom stainless steel caps were built to accommodate the terra cotta liners and give the chimneys an authentic look. The roof line was double flashed according to Crane Masonry standards. Finally, the attic air was vented through the chimneys to help keep the attic regulated and the chimneys warm and dry in the winter.
